Esanatoglia Church of Saint Sebastian

The construction of the church can be traced back to the beginning of the 13th century. During the 16th and 17th centuries, the church belonged to the Confraternity of the Blessed Sacrament. Traces of 15th century frescoes adorn the back wall, today hidden by a semicircular apse. The construction of the atrium can be traced to the first half of the 16th century. The external buttress was added in 1599; the apse, the false ceiling made of canes, the pilasters and cornices date back to the 19th century. After the earthquake in 1997, the church was reinforced and renovated. 13th century.
